Procedure

Phase A – Add Phase A in formula order to main vessel with propeller mixing and heat to 104°F (40°C). Phase B – In a separate vessel, add Phase B in formula order and heat to 131°F to 140°F (55°C to 60°C). Once uniform and at temperature, add Phase B to main vessel with shear mixing. Maintain heat until uniform then discontinue. Phase C – In a separate vessel, combine Phase C with shear mixing. Once uniform, add to main vessel. Phase D – Add Phase D to main vessel with continuous mixing. Phase E – Q.S. Phase E until desired pH is reached. Once batch is uniform, transfer to final container.
